Christmas arrived faster than expected, didn’t it? It certainly did for me! I’m busy preparing too host Christmas Eve. What are your Christmas plans? I meant to share this post earlier, but life got in the way. I’ve loved seeing all the Christmas cakes this year. I’m sharing some festive cake ideas for last-minute inspiration and for next year. My Christmas Cakes
Black & pink Christmas Tree Cake
Creating this cake was a blast! I made it for a Black Christmas cake collaboration on Instagram. I chose my favorite colors, pink and black, for the design. The buttercream Christmas tree is entirely inspired by @frostedfujicakes.

Isomalt Star Technique
Protect your hands from burns by wearing sugar protective gloves. Melt a small quantity of isomalt nibs completely. Add some edible glitter. I chose Fancy Sprinkles Rose Quartz prism powder. (incidentally, I’m obsessed with their prism powders! They are incredibly sparkly, trust me.) Place a star cookie cutter on a silicone mat. Carefully pour the melted isomalt into the cookie cutter.Ensure it’s thick enough to prevent breakage when removing it. Allow it to cool completely. Gently remove the isomalt star. Brush the star with more edible glitter. Admire your beautiful creation!
Candy Cane Lane Cake
I created this festive cake for a Christmas Sprinkle Stripes collaboration. Coincidentally,I also needed a cake for my husband’s Christmas party! I opted for a rich chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. It looked incredibly tempting. I prepared parchment paper by cutting it into strips and carefully applied them to the frosted cake. Then, I generously covered the exposed buttercream with colorful sprinkles. After the sprinkles where applied, I gently removed the parchment strips to reveal stunning sprinkle stripes! The sprinkles, by the way, came from Fancy Sprinkles.
